Cosmatos Group entered the Greek wind energy sector in the early 2000s, and our capabilities have evolved in step with the market. Today, we have successfully completed more than 30 wind energy projects across the region, supporting the sector’s increasing scale and complexity.
In a recent article published in Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International magazine, CEO Elisabeth Cosmatos explores key market developments – from ever-growing power output and the resulting increase in component size and weight, to the rising demand for integrated logistics, loading, unloading, and comprehensive documentation services. And with equipment now manufactured in new global locations and frequently delivered to remote destinations, a new market has emerged for the inland transport of oversized wind components which requires regional knowledge, precision planning and proven execution.
