    Storage Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods Class Categories according to the ADR Agreement

Dangerous Goods (DG) classification is imperative in order to determine the action required during handling, packaging or transporting of dangerous goods.

By classifying a DG cargo, the respective hazard is automatically identified by all parties involved in the supply chain, including the emergency authorities.

DG classification depends on their predominant hazard. Certain categories are sub-divided into several subclasses due to the nature and chemical characteristics of the substances producing the risk.

The classes of Dangerous Goods according to the ADR Agreement are the following:

    Class 1: Explosives (1.1-1.6)

Class 2 Gases: Compressed, Liquefied or Dissolved Under Pressure
