Cosmatos Group Coordinates Seamless Discharge and Delivery of Steel Structures at Thessaloniki Port

Cosmatos Group recently completed the successful coordination of discharging steel structures from the M/V BBC OREGON at the Port of Thessaloniki, directly onto specialized trucks. The cargo was transferred to a designated storage area within the port’s free zone and subsequently delivered to the final site in Northern Greece, following customs clearance.

CSS services covered the full scope of port logistics, including the provision of a port mobile crane, certified lifting equipment, appropriate trailers, and the comprehensive coordination of all involved parties and local authorities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The shipment consisted of six packages with a total volume of 1,320 CBM. The main units measured 17.00 meters in length, 3.85 meters in width, 4.10 meters in height, and weighed 21 metric tons each.
